Drivetime adds $2,500 to the price of their cars for a warranty that is not worth one cent. My transmission went out while under the warranty and they would only authiorize me to take it to an oil change place.

When the oil change place couldn't fix it, they said I was on my own. Do not buy a car from Drivetime, they are a ripoff. The shops they send you to are not qualified to make the repairs they refer to them.

Then they charge you a diagnisis fee for telling you they don't know what is wrong. Bad bad business

uuuuuuugh thats what they did to us... except since my hubby is a mechanic they said that if he buys the part and fixes it, and he sends them the paper work, they'll pay him back..
