Written by nancy, on 09-04-2009 15:17 i also purchase a 2002 ford taurus from drivetime and it has been 1 yr now, i still have problems and my warranty was only for 3 mos... what could a person do when we humans are trying to build up our credit and i feel they take advantage of people like us. they want the payments but not willing to hear about the car and send us to their mechanics which does not help one bit!!! I WISH I COULD HAVE WAITED....but when you have children and a single parent you do what you think its best. i also found out about the lemon law and apartently we do not land on it with drivetime, trust me...WE ARE PRETTY MUCH SCREWED!!! oh and other thing about drivetime, they do this thing if you have problems with your vehicle they want you to send receipts so they can work with you, so they say... they will allow the payments which the amount you paid on parts for vehicle and add to the balance it allows you to catch up but if you are late 1 wk they want to repo your vehicle and this so called supervisor gets on the phone and gives u the third degree... and harrasses you. they are not professional at their job and i guess that is why they hire stupid people like that. good luck!!! oh yeah and we owe these thousands of $$$ for the vehicle when its not worth a crap!!! i pay for a 2002 $20,000 yeah i was very stupid to be in this situation.... thanks.... ![]() |
